I&#039;ve been building some mashups and I got a Klout API key, but haven&#039;t really done anything with it, but another service that ranks authority  or influence online or in social media, is Topsy.com I did use there API, it doesn&#039;t require a key and wasn&#039;t hard to work with.  It might be a Japanese company but there website is in English and more importantly so is documentation for the API.  Topsy might be competing more with IceRocket or Technorati or Google&#039;s Buzz search but it can return a twitter account given keywords...]]></description>
